i really need to know if i can macro. some of us are contributing members of society/and or future contributing members of society and rely on macros to do away with the annoying leveling process. that way i can just pvp and destroy everyone else because i am superior.

I will say their patcher leaves much to be desired. I mean I left it on last night and came back to see it at dialup speed 30k/s when I woke up in the morning with 18% done.

Looks like it is going to fail by 36% this second time... It starts out ok 2.3mB/sec but it keeps dropping to say 100k then works its way back up to 2.1m then it drops to 100 and works its way up to 2.0 then it drops back and works its way back up to 1.9... It is down to 1.2 on this iteration and I can see how it will be down to say 500k by another 20 minutes. I guess I will close it out -- let it verify and restart at that point. Would do it now if it didnt take so long to do the verification process.

Of course it isnt as bad as the other game I downloaded because they gave 30 days free premium play -- age of conan. Well I still can't log into that -- going back and forth through the stupid stuff with their CSRs in email. It is like, yes I went through your faqs and I did the 4 or so obvious things we dont need to go back and forth with emails such that this doesnt get resolved before you break for the weekend. Not like it matters all that much once it misses today -- because I will be trying out tera this weekend but sheesh.

Its an Action MMORPG you dont click on a mob and press 1234 you have to target and use abilities the game is set up to be played on a xbox/ps3 controller and its quite smooth with it





Koreans hated the game at launch because it was the opposite





they are experimenting with how PvP will work in this beta phase it is some weird Outlaw system on Korea all servers have it there but here in NA we are going to have standard PvP and PvE servers

they already have Guild War declaration (guilds can fight other guilds for a period of time over towns) and there are of course standard instance BG's

Go into the launcher settings at the login screen and turn off P2P sharing and that should help.

Fun -- so all last night they probably used me as a seed... wonderful for my finite GB/Month -- and probably at a faster upload rate than I was getting as a download.

That is one problem actually with having a decent upload speed -- you get abused by cheap companies who do torrents instead of just sending out the data...

IE take my connection -- 25 down 4.3 up. If they can freeze my download at an average of 600k and vacuum up 4.3 out of me they really can make "good use" of me as a seed -- as opposed to letting me actually get the game in a reasonable amount of time(and cost me 100GB of my 250 monthly in one sweep). Even better if last night they freeze my download to dialup speed while taking my full upload bandwidth.
