somehow i came upon the subject. I was drunk and discussing adhd or addiction or schizophrenia or something or other. "they're sick and they don't know it. you might think it's a blessing for some of the sickest; they might be homeless with a serious thought disorder but unaware of what their disease has done to their life."
her face changed, and I thought she was choking back a force of emotion she conspicuously contained. I didn't find out why. She went to bed.
