I'm thinking it would be fun to try, harbor freight has a cheap kit, and my dad will let me borrow an air compressor to try it out.
what kind of stuff have you used it on? was it difficult to learn?

I don't plan to paint cars, I was thinking more arts and crafts type of stuff, maybe even face painting or doing airbrush makeup and tattoos.

I'd end up body painting myself and starting a local tribe of small game hunters. Air brushes aren't a toy.

When I was 2 or 3 I painted myself white in the neighbor's garage. They'd been painting their porch and left the empty cans and lids in the garage, open. I had on a kids bikini and painted myself everywhere that the bikini didn't cover... then I went home and stood in the doorway looking at my mother and exclaimed. "Where have you been? I've been looking all over for you!" (which is what she was about to say to me.)
I was really lucky that it was latex paint, back then most outdoor paints were lead based still.
I do remember all of this as well, and getting scrubbed raw in the bath afterward too.

I use a double action one on my models

Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.

LOL latex! That musta been a bitch coming off!
latex is water based, modern wall/house paint is latex
its certainly better than oil based paints, need mineral spirits to get them off.

Yes way less horrifying than needing thinner to get it off...but it's still a lot of
