And everyone seems to have upgraded but the Red Wings. If they weren't significant buyers this year with several millions of dollars to throw around, I don't think they ever will be.

Much as I hate the Wings, I have nothing but respect with how they run that organization - they continue to be contenders year after year without the occasional high draft pick. That being said, I think Tomas Holmstrom is a douchebag...
