Got back from the store, with a 6 pack. Wow, that taste. First time seeing it in the store in over 10+ years!
Did they stop then start again recently?

So was production of the beer stopped at some point? Like i said, haven't seen it in the stores or liquor stores here in Vegas for YEARS, then tonight...there it is. I still remember the taste after opening the first bottle...it's exactly the same.
Were they just selling locally?

I think production did stop for a time but not for long. I used to drink the 4.99 12 backs we got in SF and they got me through college. I moved to Florida and lost track until I moved to Portland and found out they'd been bought up.

Ahhh ok. Yeah i remember the 12 packs being so cheap, but the flavor being so awesome and no hangover. Better than the more expensive 6-packs of name brand stuff. Lived on Weinhard's until one day...poof...nothing in the stores.
So happy to see it back.

Had it here as long as I can remember.
Used to be cheap and tastes like rice. Now its only slightly cheaper and tastes like rice.
Plus the blonde and private reserve are the exact same crapness.
