i went to see if they had some specific documentaries i'm interested in watching. but apparently there's no longer a way to search their inventory unless you pay for an account.  i don't even.. how does this help them in any way? they'd have gotten at least one month of payment out of me if i could search their siht right now. oh you have this? i'll sign up to watch it! instead i'm like well i guess i'll hit up the torrent sites.
edit: damn. i missed the SUPER TINY link for browse selection.  my friend saw it instantly. i'll leave this up for everyone to laugh at me.

well upon further investigation, you're extremely limited in what you can see. like i picked the documentary category to view and it gave me about 16 choices. the newest ones it looked like. so unless you can search with super specific names, you're likely going nowhere. god before they would let you see the entire site. why are they limiting themselves so much? it's like they're actively trying to go out of business.

thats the problem I've had with them, look at the fantasy/sci fi categories and you get maybe 20 things. I rated about 200 movies and it still wouldn't bring up more.

This is the exact reason I never subscribed to Netflix. I visited their site to sign up for the free trial and figured I would see what I could search for in my areas of interest. The search feature only pulled up a very few selections at a time unless I typed in a specific title. Way to much effort when you would think they would let you pull up a whole category if that is what you were interested in doing.

Netflix is losing a good chunk of its movies with Starz going under, I have heard they are going to go to mostly TV shows instead of movies.
