i'm on the fence with this
the aliens vs predator franchise hurt me pretty bad
only the first two alien movies were any good
i'm a purist when it comes to this

I liked 4.
Agreed on Aliens vs Predator, though the first one did have some OK "lore" to it initially. The second was stupid and the third sort of got a bit better.
Such wasted potential.

i'm hesitant about the movie when he says its going to have its own mythology and explorations. it sounds like its going to end up deviating from a good movie and dealing with a bunch of stupid philosophical themes that have been done to death.
also a pg-13 would pretty much mean instant flop.
