if you have a local store like MicroCenter or Fry's, you can easily find a 'cheap' AGP card that'll get you running again.
problem is, AGP is pretty expensive compared to PCI-E due to limited supply.
still, sometimes it's worth more to get a machine running with 1 expensive part rather than updating the whole thing.

Was $60 vs $200-$300 for a new computer plus I don't need to worry about re-installing my software again computers in Canada are more expensive then in the US. Tho with the dollar being on par that shouldn't be the case, but it still is.  I blame Mithan he should use his clout as VN Admin to get cheap prices for all the Canadian board members.
