They tried to make us learn metric when I was a kid but it was too confusing for the teachers I think. (Ok I wasn't a fan either trying to learn both)
Science classes still used metric though I think because of the beakers etc. all had metric measurements.

Yep, I laughed. JD is such a smart-ass, but I respect him for it.
And, unless one of these other countries comes and invades, and takes over, the USA is sticking with our crappy NON-metric system. Deal with it, eh?
