At the White House on Monday, President Obama will seek to persuade the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to postpone whatever plans he may have to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities in the coming months. Obama will argue that under his leadership, the United States "has Israel's back," and that he will order the U.S. military to destroy Iran's nuclear program if economic sanctions fail to compel Tehran to shelve its nuclear ambitions.

Even Canada is beating the war drums with our Prime Minister promising to get involved.
What nobody has explained to me yet is why is Iran such a big threat exactly?

How "great" of an empire is America? The average American really isn't affected by this so-called greatness, everybody in the country is still broke as hell and just struggling to survive basically. A hamburger costs $5, a candy bar and soda pop costs $4, the middle class isn't really getting any more prosperous and hasn't for decades...
I guess only the rich are prospering from this so-called empire.

I'm not exactly for a military strike against Iran, but you can't possibly have a straight face when wondering what would be dangerous about a country with strong ties to quasi-terrorist/militant groups like Hezbollah and ruled by a theocratic regime having a nuclear weapon, can you?
