It happened when I was 4 and I had a rash. My mom said it was probably a heat rash since she let me dress myself for school. I'll talk to them tomorrow

I'd suggest getting a definitive answer which would probably require a skin test for you. Putting down penicillin under drug allergies has a lot of consequences in terms of treatment for a lot of common illnesses and most physicians aren't going to gamble on a vague answers...

i used to fake strep all the time in jr hs because they would always send you home. but then my doctor threatened to remove my tonsils so i stopped doing it, didn't want to call his bluff

I had strep only once. It was decades ago but the way I remember it was like trying to swallow broken glass. Never want to go through that again.
If you still get a rash(from the penicillin), don't dismiss it as nothing. Severe reactions can lead to skin peeling off like you were a severe burn victim,(it is rare though). Never dismiss a rash, it can happen with a lot of medications.
*if you're not sure if you're allergic, it is best to get tested rather than remove it as an option right out, like suggested above.

lol, why didn't they do a strep test?
i found it much easier to fake a fever. when the nurse left the room you rub the thermometer on your pant leg, but be careful because one idiot made his go to 107 degrees.

They gave me erythromycin and did a culture. I'll have a test performed when I'm all better.
