Gotta figure Paul wont drop out, he loves wasting money as evidenced by his large government big spending policies.
Santorum probably wont drop out, he'll still be within sniffing distance even if he doesnt do well.
Romney will probably distance himself a tad.
Gingrich though is pretty much dead in the water now, gotta figure he'll be throwing in the towel soon.

I think Santorum will win a couple of states and keep himself from fading into the rear view mirror completely. But I think today is the day when Romney will more or less become the defacto Republican nominee. Does he have enough in the tank to unseat Obama? I do not think so.....the Republicans are so factionalized within themselves for them to unite behind their nominee for the push needed to get a sitting President out of office.
I get the gut feeling that this is going to end up being a whole lot like the Clinton/Dole election.

I keep hearing from right wingers how Obama is the worst president ever...maybe they forgot about Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan, Richard Nixon and George W. Bush.
I guess nothing matters if it happened longer than 15 years ago though.

Except that we have 15% of the country out of work and an out of control budget deficit.

The Republican establishment is begging Santorum to shut the hell up and get out of the race. He probably isn't going anywhere however.
They really want to shift the focus from social issues to the economy and health care, which is amazing, considering they are supporting Romney. Flailing and wailing it's pathetic.
More pathetic however is once they do anoint Romney and start making up crap about the economy instead of making up crap about birth control, many "independents" will forget all about the push to enslave women and put us back into the 15th century, and vote for Mittens.
This election isn't over by a long shot. As horrible as the Republican candidates are, they have a TON of money, and are gearing up to blanket the country with non-stop attack ads against Obama.
Gingrich will win huge in Georgia and take all the delegates there, which will be enough to keep him limping in the race till the end of March.
