She busted her leg up AGAIN. I asked how and he said she had to kick in another door (which is how she busted it originally)

I'm like, "Oh what happened that she had to kick a door down!?" He replies, "Someone screaming for help inside a house" I ask, "Ohh so what happened?" He says, "I don't know. I didn't ask."

I found that so odd! How could you not ask?

Because she was cheating on him with her partner and got caught. That's why she's suspended (on leave).

Geez you are dense and insensitive.

Believe it or not, some people like to leave their work at work.

This... he's lucky she told him as much as he did. Most Police, Correctional, Parole, and Probation officers prefer not to talk about work at home. I never once told my kid or my ex-wife what really goes on during my work day. I was content to let her believe that I was nothing but a glorified babysitter and nothing ever happened when truth is I probably respond to 3-4 fights a day at my min security prison... and that's on a slow day.

Also, people who incessantly talk about work when not at work are just annoying.

My wife doesn't have a job, so no.

If she did have a job, then yes.

In the academy, we were taught to try as best possible to keep work at work. Nobody wants to take police work home. Nobody.
