The article says he was armed with a taser but never used it.
Might as well say he used his gun too since he probably had it in his holster.

This kind of stuff (plus metal detectors in schools and schools getting waaaay out of hand when it comes to "no tolerance" policies of various kinds) is one of the numerous reasons I'm all for homeschooling.
