This wasnt really Goodells doing though, executive owners committee ruling per ESPN this morning. They were both apparently repeatedly warned this would happen as well.

I dont get how he thinks a memo is a legally binding agreement. I dont think it can withstand a legal challenge, if it gets taken to a federal court.

Goodell and the rest of the executive committee.

what this is, because other teams had gm's that where to stupid to release players or had contracts that where to big that they couldn't afford to take the hit on.

basically what happened is these teams cut people and took the salary cap hit in one year instead of basically lay-awaying the salary cap hit.

the rest of the teams in nfl is pissed because they wherent in a position of take advantage of the uncapped year.

what this basically is that you go to work on monday and sometime during the weekend they instituted a no drinking rule, but since your boss knows you have gotten drunk in the past he writes you up.

nfl is screwed this is being reported on Dallas site.

the nfl has to approve all contracts first and they approved Miles Austins contract.

so yeah Dallas is lawyering up.

In Dallas's case they moved money from his guaranteed salary and paid it out as a signing bonus.
