it's not downloading, it's not updating, it's not installing and it's not.. well doing anything. it's using 60% of my cpus right now. wtf?

No doubt it is trying to control your computer. The question is, what for?
Try typing questions into where you enter your username, or perhaps just put it in notepad and try to illicit a response
Or just send EA/BW customer service with an email telling them to go **** themselves in the subject line

well i wanted to play it on my pc and take part in mp. i mean i bought me2 for the 360 but i never played it that way.

To be honest, at this point anyone using origin or EA/bioware products deserves what they get. The fact that these things are trash and don't work the way they are supposed to is so well known that any problems you have are you're own fault for even using programs that were obviously designed by people who hate games, money, and positive publicity. But more importantly they hate you. Individually. They hate you.
