Sounds like a good plan to me, I am also doing the same. I try to not eat anything after I work out, which I do at night, and I don't eat crap stuff anymore. Try to keep sugar low as well

It's a good way to eat, imo. Don't know what kind of jelly/jam you like or don't like, but Smuckers has a couple of flavors of "low sugar" jams. Strawberry, and I forget the other one. They don't have any artificial sweeteners or crap in them, just less sugar than "regular" jam. They are awesome.
