and this from the Tampa Tribune:

The Bulls, who are seeking to tie a school record for victories that has stood since the 1982-83 season, played their most complete game of the year against California (24-10).

USF never trailed and raced to a 36-13 lead in the first half, when it shot a blistering 66.7 percent and limited California to 20.8 percent from the field.

I'm not that surprised by USF beating Cal. I'd put even money on Cal finishing 9th in the Big East...

i had em losing after two, tho i would cheer if this is the first 1 seed to lose to a 16

Even though I have Kentucky in the final 4, I'd love to see Western Kentucky kick their ass in the first round.

asheville certainly seems to have a lot of fans there in pittsburgh
