I loved vanguard. One of the best mmos ever made, just a shame how it all went down.

Beautiful game, but too much of a time sink. Took forever to build a house. I would have kept playing if I didn't feel like I was the only one in the game. Like Cam Ranh Bay, they built a huge infrastructure that was barely used before being abandoned. Huge environment built for a fleet that never arrived.

Its a game for those who loved the old MMOs. The ones that felt like a timesink but actually felt like you accomplished something by the end. It took you forever to make a house, a boat or whatever because those are supposed to be BIG things. It makes you feel like you did something important.

I loved vanguard in early beta -- if you werent in at least a year before release, you didn't get to see what it could have become.
