I know. And I know these kinds of episodes can happen. And for soldiers there to take Ambien would not surprise me. Everyone that knows him says it's completely out of character. I know you hear that a lot too. But some of the stories I've read about his past says it may be true. The one thing I heard on the TV is that some of the stories by civilians over there indicate he may not have been working alone. I also know there are some psychos that see war as an opportunity to kill. So I really don't know what the truth is. I only know that true or not I still expect the defense to say he was on Ambien or something similar.

my dad totalled a car because of Ambien. His genius doctor gave him Vicodin to take at night along with the Ambien for a back injury. The doctor didn't bother to mention that the amount of time for the Ambien to clear can be more than 8 hours if you take it with narcotics.
My dad's reaction time to everything was delayed by 3-5 seconds. He somehow made it down the twisty windy 5 mile road, then another 2 miles down the freeway to the exit there he met his carpooler, and slammed into the back of a pickup without even braking. If it wasn't for his carpooler having seen the accident, and was familiar with my dad, I'm sure the cops would have arrested him for driving under the influence. Even talking to him, his replies to any questions were delayed.
