I posted a joke about my sister being a stalker on one of her facebook updates. I guess I posted after some guy, and he got all butt hurt I called him a stalker. He messages me telling me how he doesn't appreciate it, and how I have called him a stalker before. The thing is I have never even met this guy before.
Someone has a guilty conscious.

I feel like this issue with words that sound kind of similar being substituted is going to really mushroom in the next few years.
Maybe people are just seeing it misspelled/misused the first time they ever see it used in a sentence.
