First date is coming up in about 2 hours.
I broke up with my girlfriend the day after I met this woman (we were just really good friends who were hanging till something awesome came along for either of us, I'm not a total dick. Really). I'm all floored and stuff by her. I mean, it's like seriously being 15 again and wanting this woman so bad I can taste the flop sweat every time I think of her...which is constantly.
Did you ever meet someone you knew was going to change your world, for good or for bad, just because you met them? Yeah, I've got it bad.
So, my question to you, the oh so exalted paragons of pulchritude pounding poontang patrons (and their targets of course) is this...WTF?
I thought liking women was something you grew out of in your teens. I considered many options to impress, cars, money, having a couple of hot hookers follow me around and bow to me every time I burped....lots of crazy shiznet.
I opted for, "Here goes nuttin". Hopefully some of you, who aren't total dicks, will be around to help me put the pieces of me back together after I get shattered.

I stopped having those feelings I had as teen to lessen the hurt of rejection. I learned not to get emotionally invested in a girl until I knew she'd reciprocate. Then I met "The One" who blow away those emotional walls I made and to be honest it feels much better. I don't think I could ever go back walling myself off again.

Take it as it comes. Eff the "options to impress". Do your thing and let it be what is going to be. If you are gonna rock each other's worlds then the outcome will be best if done at face value.

It's probably a good feeling to have and maybe you will stumble thru the date and she might be lucky enough to realize how she makes you feel.
