I need something too. I need the attenuation for a pair of tweeters for my car. I've already designed the 10k high pass butterworth filter. Will cost like $12 to build them. I've also designed the L-pads. I just don't know what attenuation I will need.

When I was doing my search I came across a website where a guy was blogging about the construction of a car sound system. Didn't understand how I got there.

It's OK Ebon. No one can answer my question. The only way to find the answer is to instal everything except the L-Pad then run pink noise and put an RTA inside the car. The readout will tell me how much to attenuate.
