Heard Chris Roberts might be contenplating a new Wing Commander Game heard that last year and I can't find more news of it but it would be sweet.

I have wary eye on Secret World. It's being developed by Funcom, so that's a huge double edged sword of original gameplay and sloppy programming.

Oh and Guild Wars 2 of course.

Ya Secret world looks good so far from what I have seen, it is a Funcom game and I wasn't a big fan of AO so I am gonna wait and see what it turns into. I will be watching the release day news for sure.


Same with Tera I havn't seen much footage or news of it and it being Korean I think makes me wary of it, but it might be a fun diversion the combat looks much more action oriented then most MMO's. I was hoping Kingdom of Amalur would fill that void until it became a single player game, been enjoying it it's a fun one to mess about with.


GW2 might end up being great with the system they have in place where anyone can fill any role I am curious to see how well that works for them and how close the second game mirrors the first. I didn't play GW1 much I played for a few months after release still I find it interesting.


Assasins Creed 3 might be good I generally enjoy these games tho I wish they would focus more on the stealth aspects of the games and less on the mini game gimmicks. Blending into a crowd and trying to find the best approach to the target is the best part of the game and it's the part I wish they would focus on more. Will rent AC3 then probably buy it for PC that's my normal routine play it on the 360 for a weekend and if I like it I buy it.


I think MW4 is still bubbling away someplace not sure if it's been picked up by anyone I would love a new game and on current gen systems if it took advantage of 4 cores could be pretty epic.


The online version looks pretty simplistic but for me it's just nice it's around in some form at all.


Can't wait for the Trilogy to be finished for Starcraft I still play Wings of Liberty even tho I have finished the single player a couple of times it's a very well made game. I don't mind paying another $120 for the series. I do wish they had put out a deal if you wanted to pay up front. Say $90 for loyal fans or some such.

Bastion, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Shadow Complex, Dishwasher Smile, Renegade Ops, Trine, Super Meat Boy, Spaz, Osmos


I do agree that creativity has suffered in lieu of formulaic production with some of the big bugdget games to me this just leaves room for the little guy to do something revolutionary to get the attention of gamers who are getting tired


Kind of what inspired this thread I havn't bought many games this year compared to the last 2 and I was wondering what might be worth the time to invest in let alone the dollars.


Picked up Ninja Gaiden 3 and it sufferes from exactly this problem.. pretty much sucked compared to the other games in the series, even with the flashy graphics I'd rather play the NES games.
