Why not have a normal bodybuilder's dinner (chicken, brown rice, broccoli/whatever) and then supplement with a protein shake before bed?

(Brocephalus?)

Because real food is more satiating before a fast.

I ate about 1.5 lbs of pasta and shrimp alfrado I made at lunch after working out

Feel insanely sleepy now though

It was DreamField pasta btw, so most of the carbs are non-digestible. Can't reheat it by nuking it though... so have to cook whatever you're gonna eat

After workouts I used to drink a small cup of coca cola with ice.

Really hit the spot

Whats the point of doing a fast if you're going to eat a whole day's worth of food before you fast?

Has been great so far. Losing fat and getting stronger. Benched 250 pounds 6 times, deadlifted 375 pounds 4 times and squatted 325 3 times (couldn't quite get the 4th rep) and down to 190 pounds.
