Brittany Griner is The Man! No, I mean really. Adams apple, flat chested, man hands and man arms, and a voice deeper than Sean Connery. Do they do package checks on female players to make sure? I remember some issue with a "female" runner over in Africa that was a manshe. Same thing here?

I would say they should check but come on it's women's basketball. It's not like anyone cares about that isht.

It's really sad that female athletes can't gain acceptance unless they also happen to be good looking. Can't we just acknowledge this womans athletic prowess based on its merits rather than focusing on her physical appearance?
But yeah she looks like Joakim Noah.

they will never gain acceptance in basketball, because they just flat-out aren't as good...ever. it is painfully boring to watch women's basketball, and that's why it won't gain acceptance.
soccer is one of the few sports where women can play it and be as entertaining (or boring depending on who you ask) as their male counterparts...but that's about it. and volleyball, and everyone knows the real reason why people watch women's volleyball.

I completely agree. WNBA is an awful thing to watch and college womens Bball is probably even worse. Griner is known for her dunks but none of her dunks are impressive by male standards, its only impressive because she's a woman and she can dunk. I'm more impressed with the way she plays on defense, she's like a female Javale McGee or something. Shotblocking machine.
