I just landed a 'contract' with a new distributing company for images. Haven't made images in almost a year.

I got the job, I spent 80% of the interview trying to convince the guy that I actually don't mind awful call center work.
apparently either I'm a good enough liar, or he doesn't really give a crap that I hope to find another job before I finish training.

You are going to get paid, the job might (OK, will) suck....but any paycheck is better than no paycheck. You can use the time and money to help you get something you will like better. So gratz!
