Saying they're insane isn't the same as saying they can't. I just don't get it. How is that fair to a kid? I've never understood parents that end up being like 70 when the kid graduates HS. Seems awfully selfish to me. I'm 45 and I can't imagine living most of my adult life without my mom around.



what an odd way to look at it. Not saying I think it's wrong, it's just strange to me.

I don't think it's odd. Anyone over 50 that has a baby risks seriously screwing that kid up by a) Not being able to play with them much because they're too old. b) Dying before the kid is old enough to vote.
