Is getting into DH at level 80 even possible? I thought I had heard you needed to complete a series of quest and be 82 as a requirement? I was wanting to move there to continue mining but not sure if that's even an option at 80.

You can go to Uldum, not sure on Deepholm.

If you've hit 475, just go to Twilight Highlands. You can mine elementium, then at 500 rich elementium, and 525 can get pyrite. I did Sholazar to TH and spent a couple hours there mining. Had no competition for nodes, although it being the mid afternoon most people were probably at work/school.

Deepholm at 80 is easy, just get a couple people to summon you at the Stonecore summoning stone... or find a warlock + 2 clickers. ;p
Deepholm + Twilight are heaven for herbers & miners ;p
