anyone have a link to a good site where they teach you how to make macros? i mean using the in game macros window.
or maybe someone can help with what i want: this is for a rogue. i want to make a macro to cast backstab UNLESS i have 5 combo points on my target. if i have 5 combo points i want to cast eviscerate instead. is that even possible...to make the 5 point combo points condition?

Unfortunately, you cannot "link" a macro to combo points with the ingame editor.

Can't do that while in combat.

Essentially, they will not allow macros that make decisions for you based on criteria. If "X", cast " ", unless "Z", etc....
