A lock can tame demons. It lastsfor 5 minutes. Now here's the kicker. If you zone or port or get summoned does the pet gow ith you? Anyonek now or can confirm / test on their lock?

We've always been able to do this. It never used to follow you, and I doubt it does now. I mean, follow you through hearthing or ports and the like.
and it's called 'enslave'

They should add more demons and make hte tame permanent, like the sorcerer's spell in DAoC.

I remember seeing an old video of a warlock summoning something in IF auction house, and killing everyone with some AE from it.

Ha!! Must have been a hunter then. Saw her by the SW bank about a month ago. I was all excited. "Ooooh alien corehound!" I thought it was a hunter but as far as I know no mob with this skin is tamable because they're all demons. So how and where did she get it?

Ok, next step, looking for a horde lock on Deathwing. Done a bunch of testing with an ally lock. Now I need a "red" lock.  Don't worry I won't hurt you. Just let me know if you're iwlling to help out a bit.

That looks like a regular pet that had Living Bomb (or as we called it The Bomb) cast on it. They just dismissed the pet and re-summoned it later.

I read something somewhere about hunter being able to tame demons now, but I duno if it's true or not. maybe they did allow them to do it after all.

Hunters can't tame demons now. Blizzard just reclassified a lot of mobs that were demons before into beasts.
