I used to camp the blacksmith in Soutshore for the green chain shoulders he'd sometimes sell. Was good money in vanilla.
Oh and those peeps who want to make their flying mounts? Don't buy the khorium off the AH for the power core, jsut camp the engineering parts guy in Area 51 buy the core for 3g. They spawn in his "inventory" ever few hours or so.
Khorium was selling for 200g a bar last time I check on the AH.

Weren't the old bandage books from Arathi selling at a premium for a while too because of this or was that just because people didn't know where they were and bought them for a premium off the AH instead?
In any event, it's a good tip if you don't mind spending the time to camp the vendor or can figure out the respawn time.
