They look like what we call Miracles, (Real name is Morel).

If they are, they are delicious! How you can tell is this, if you cut one in half and its hollow,(Stem and head are both edible, so pull all and cut), its a morel. If its solid its not and will sicken you.
If it is, wash, and roll in flour, then fry with S&P, they are sooooooo good!
I hunt them here around this time.

Look at the one on the left it looks like the stem has already split open and it is hollow.
Morel I do believe you have there. YUMMY!

Yep, looks like Morels to me, too. Incredibly yummy mushrooms. If you're interested in eating them but don't trust us to tell you what they are, take them to your local farmer's market. They should be able to tell you. They sell for a pretty penny, too.

My neighbour has them, not sure what she's planning. Apparently another one has grown too. I'll have to go out with the camera again.
