zuchini in garlic tomato sauce

made some last night --- and it was good
garlic tomato sauce
1 16oz can of whole tomatoes
4-5 chunks of fresh garlic
salt
black pepper
--- put the tomatoes and garlic in a blender and blend it well --- put it in a sauce pot and heat it up
zuchini - sliced
grill it in a pan in some olive oil
when it starts to brown - add it to the tomato sauce
server over rice ---- goes real nice with pork chops

I love zucchini and tomatoes...spiced up of course with some garlic, black pepper, lil red pepper, some tony's, and cheese melted on the top...mozz. of course. YUM!!!

Try adding onion and oregano. That's how I sautee my zucchini - onion, garlic, zucchini and oregano. Then you could top with the tomato and some parm.
Still, sounds good.

substitute sausage or pepperoni for zuchini --- still good
