So what? Arguably we did. We also trained, funded and armed them. And we are doing the very same thing in Afghanistan and Iraq today. SSDD, same shit different dictators.

I love my country and because of his I am not in denial of her faults. We've raped the Middle East for years and supported horrible regimes over and over again. You expect them to love us because we change our mind, and do so at and for our own convenience?
