1) No. They barely beat Stanford, and only won because they got lucky at the end.

2) If Alabama wins the logical split title would be Alabama/LSU.

A split title would be the only sensible way to determine the best college football team in 2011.


But the BCS has never been about figuring out who is the best team in the country.


The University of Houston would have a similar argument. Alabama's only out of conference victory was over Penn State. Houston now has the same argument.

Because they think they're as good a program as either of those two.


Neutral field I don't think they beat LSU.


Alabama yes but LSU no.

If Alabama wins I think it should be a three way split. LSU, Alabama and OK ST. who really should be playing LSU.

I won't be watching the game, but I will sure has hell be hoping Alabama wins 3 - 0 in a 60 minute borefest.

We almost beat Stanford and we did beat Oregon.

I think that OSU should have to split with USC and Bama and LSU can go back to porking their cousins!

My husband said that OK ST. should be playing LSU.

I will;l be watching the game, I don't think this one will be a borefest.

LSU hopefully wins again.

The Super Dome crew will be busy. Allstate Sugar Bowl tonight, Saints playoff game on Saturday, then BCS game on Monday. That's a lot of field changes.

I hope to god LSU wins... if bama beats LSU I dont see why they should get more than a share of the title.
