1) siths have way, way more fun
2) sith assassin is the most fun MMORPG class i've ever played
3) sith op sniper is the 2nd most fun
4) marauders seem badass, but how are they in PVP?

Marauder - I hear at 50 they are beast. But getting there is rough, they are incredibly squish and have limited crowd control options comparatively imo.

For PvE, you will want to keep your healing companion's gear well upgraded. It seems easy to get over your head with this class, without a solid group behind you.

Great, now I will have to start an Assasin alt to check it out. Sigh

The assassin is by far the best rogue class I've ever played.

After fight hot, CC, several instas (a couple that are AOE based), stealth, positional based styles - can easily take up to 5 or 6 even level mobs with a companion.

And the dual edged lightsaber is hella fun to watch.

Both SI advanced classes are ridiculously overtuned and will be nerfed. So it's a question of whether you want to invest the time now when you know for sure they are going to be changed, and not for the better.

that's a good point, although honestly i'm digging the story lines so much that i'm happy rolling up and trying out each character.
