Not what you want to hear when bungee jumping over a river rapids filled with crocodiles. Can you swim with your legs tied together?

An Australian woman has survived a terrifying fall after her bungee cord snapped during a 111-metre (364-feet) leap off Africa's Victoria Falls Bridge, plunging her into the crocodile-infested Zambezi River below.
Erin Langworthy, who suffered only cuts and bruises in the fall on New Year's Eve, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, said it was a "miracle" that she had survived the plunge into the rapids below the bridge, which borders Zambia and Zimbabwe.

I saw this on the news this morning. I don't know that it's a miracle - the bungee still took nearly all the energy from her jump before snapping - but she is quite lucky.

Oh it's a miracle, but not for the reason you think.
The fact that Fist got a bit of news from something other than whackjobidiots.com or WND.com is in fact a miracle, a miracle that I for one am going to submit to the Vatican for official review.

Sorry troll. For something to be funny it has to have at least a small slice of truth to it. I have not used a link from conservative web sites for some time now. Fact is today the wacko link is most likely to come from the NY Times. That paper has fallen into distrust with there clear bias and selective reporting.

In this case I would do my best to learn how to not just walk but run over water. I might not succeed but I would sure try.
Good thing the line broke when she was close to the water. If she was knocked out drowning was about a sure thing.
People trip and die. People choke on food. There are a lot of ways to die. That she did not die is the story.
