A) The voters who just vote for whoever their party puts on the ballot
B) The voters who pick the candidates for their party

If you just vote for whoever your party puts on the ballot regardless of whether or not you think they are good, you have chosen to be type A. On the other hand, if you only vote for your parties candidate if you think they are good, then your party has to cater to you and what you think is best in order to earn your vote. This makes you type B.

Which type of voter do you want to be?

This is either a false dichotomy or not a false dichotomy. <---tautology (i.e. "Tautology also means a series of self-reinforcing statements that cannot be disproved because the statements depend on the assumption that they are already correct." from wiki)

I'd rather be neither. I don't vote for a political party, I vote for the candidate. Last election I voted for candidates from two parties. If I see someone from a third or fourth that I like, I will vote for them. Why do you (partisan voters) hate America?

Republicans in my state won't let you vote in a primary unless you swear to be type A.
