I was headed to the bank and the McDonald's right off I-59 was packed. The ESPN bus was even parked there. You would think people who work for ESPN could afford to eat someplace better. Most of the cars were flying Alabama flags, I cried.

The ESPN tent at the drag races is the gold star of VIP tents. Catered food, free beer and wine, lots of snacks.

I thought about pulling in just to see who was in there, but the parking lot was full.

There was a line of cars waiting to get in RaceTrac for gas.

The BSC game even had an financial impact 60 miles north of New Orleans.

EspnU has been doing this 'bus tour' thing all season. That might have been what you saw.
