Has a SS# that starts with 042? I thought that was a Connecticut only issued number (the number was apparently issued to someone who DIED in Hawaii).
I know there MUST be an explanation for this so could someone tell me the short of it?

He got a Connecticut number because that is where the application was mailed from. Sometime in 77,78,or 79. Except Obama had never even visited CT by then.
Or someone at the SS office screwed up. Or his number is stolen. Who knows.
