Ron Paul is an establishment non player because he gets nothing done and nothing passed on the Federal level in congress. I'm sure he helps his state out but other than that he just panders to the nuts and makes money off of them

So he strongly backed Romney(the most likely candidate) EARLY...
He is likely going the VP route.

He will NOT be a VP, and has stated so. He is keeping his pledge to New Jersey by remaining Gov this term and is using the next four years to gain experience.
Its in his interest for Obama to win.
