If he really is broke, I'm pretty sure he can get that reduced. That is a ridiculous amount to pay for child support.
That is what I was going to comment on. Isn't child support based on income? If he is broke I would think the same [that he could get it reduced]. Of course, didn't he just sign with some other weird football league for 250-500k a year? So, he's not
truly broke.
Depends on what state has the jurisdiction over the support.
Generally speaking though, it's not exactly easy to do that. The courts are slow and reticent to adjust to changes in income for a man. California in particular is known to simply refuse to do so.
