I don't think I've ever even heard of a king cake. An area of my education is sadly lacking. I must try one. I like Nutella btw.

No thanks. I prefer mine with 3 inorganic ingredients.

King cakes are made during carnival. They used to put a little plastic baby in the cake, and whoever got the baby had to buy the next cake. Of course people have to be warned that the baby is in the cake, can't have them choking on it.

I usually go for the plain cake, no filling, but the thought of Nutella is too good to pass on.

I shall have to try one. They mail the things. Best I avoid the New Orleans area till after Fat Tuesday celebrations however...no will power and I'm pretty stupid even sober. I'd be a statistic.
