I found a New York Public Transit coin (Good for one fare!) from like 50 years ago...i wonder what they'd say if i came to USA and tried to pay with that?

Nope, they're cards now and the turnstiles all say NO TOKENS

Probably still worth something though, or will in 50 years.

Drats! I wonder if anybody has tried to sue yet...the tokens say GOOD FOR ONE FARE and no expiry date!

Collectable perhaps, I miss the coins out of nostalgia but using a metro-card is admittedly a world more convenient.

I inherited my dads coin collection, half of them arent even coins though

Just sold one silver mark from 1867 for 50$
