I think some people are just simply just better on drugs.

(Talking about recreational ones)

I think drugs should be a personal choice but heavily taxed like tobacco is. Everyone should have the right to be on drugs. ALL OF THEM!

I agree with that

With so many social programs though, there would need to be strict drug tests so people just don't become heroine junkies and live off welfare.

In fact devoting probably 10% of what we spend on law enforcement for the War on Drugs to rehabilitation faculties would probably do more good than the entire drug war has ever done (the drug war has never done anything good)

Well, it's put a lot of black people in prison and I think that is something we can all agree on being a good thing.

Anyway... yes to the original question. I've known some people that were unbearably boring while sober but an awesome good time when high.

Drugs should be sold out of police stations or even better hospitals. Just pay the fee for your drug of choice, sign/initial here that you know what the drug does and are responsible for your actions while on it, and sit through the mandatory drug education class and you've got your drugs. Profits go toward treatment programs which are encouraged before, during, and after purchase. Let people do what they want, but hold them accountable and offer a way out if they want it.

The way we treat drugs currently is ridiculous. Why do we call them 'controlled substances' when the criminals are the ones in control?
