A quest to find the solutions to the problems that man, in general faces. Which leads to research and attempts to influence policy.

The Al Gore camp wants there to be a carbon trading index like there is with commonalities and stocks now

The whitecoats want more government money to fund more research ( keep themselves employed)

politicians want to use this fear 9 never let a crisis go to waste0 to pass more politically motivated legislation to control how we live
