So if you're unable to accomplish something you believe in, it means you don't really believe in it?

If you're for 95% of what your party believes in, and enact legislation at the state level (where your party supports that sort of legislation coming from) that your political opponents also agree with, you're suddenly in the opposition party?

John McCain was against torture, does this mean he was against the Republican Party?

Christ, this country is getting more and more polarized because theres more and more stupid filing it up. There would be no political evolution if everyone towed the party line.

I find it quite comforting that only difference between USA and totalitarian regime is the fact that USA has two party system instead of one even though the parties doesn't really differ any other way than by the fact that the other partys rich elite likes to RP socialists.
