About 4 feet and it fell right into my dogs water bowl - completely submersed.
Then i ran it under the water in the sink and it still works.
Im impressed.
I also spilled an entire starbucks grande latte over my work laptop a few months ago.. I had liquid pouring out of it - still working.
I guess the quality of electronics is improving.

i went for a swim with an old flip phone in my pocket, once. bout 10 feet down.
it worked.
for about a month....
dropped another phone in about 2 inches of bilge water and yanked it out after a less than a second
it worked
for about 2 weeks
dropped another phone in a toilet before i sat down to poo.
took a few mins to figure out how to get it back
it worked
for about 6 weeks
water and electronics, especially cell phones, dont mix.
revisit this thread in about 3 weeks when you start getting random reboots, stuck keys, freeze ups, etc...

A friend's iPhone 3g or 3gs, I can not remember which, got blown into the lake last summer and was easily submerged for almost 10 minutes. After it dried, worked fine for months until he finally just upgraded to 4s. It did start to get progressively worse though, but was shockingly functional for what happened.

If you think my opinion is idiotic, re-read yours.
Dont worry I will give my opinion anyways.
The PvP MMO is NOT a "niche" market, Mythic is just a "niche" company.
