His reviews are amusing, but, aren't a reliable indicator as to the actual game. He's a lot more interested in scoring verbal points than he is in giving a real review.

I find his reviews to be rather informing actually.
Sure he is out to score verbal points, but he also breaks games down really well.
Most reviewers either love or hate a game and then they go on and on about the one reason they love or hate the game.
He can hate a game and still tell you the good things about it, and he can love a game a still tell you what's stupid about it. That's the sign of a good critic to me.
